Learning through simulation

In development

Practise difficult work situations with Decisyn.

For managers, project leads and policy professionals. Choose a role, make decisions in a simulation, explore possible responses and reflect without real-world consequences.

Try a different choice without risk to real work.

Decisyn lets participants work through a recognisable scenario and provides reflection questions. The feedback supports learning, but is not employee assessment or certification.

Your organisation profile connects the work.

Goals, roles, working methods and validated knowledge provide the context for this building block. During onboarding, we agree what is needed. That profile can then grow with further applications, within the permissions agreed for your organisation.

The challenge

Professionals rarely get a safe chance to practise difficult choices.

Real situations have consequences, while generic training often lacks the pressure, stakeholders and uncertainty of day-to-day work.

Little room to practise

Real situations are not the place to experiment without consequences.

Generic training

A fixed programme does not always match the role, level and work context.

Limited reflection

After a decision, there is not always time to examine assumptions, alternatives and effects.

Intended benefits

Learn by choosing, reflecting and trying again.

Test whether participants can practise a recognisable situation, examine their reasoning more consciously and try a different approach.

Experience rather than only read

Make choices in a realistic but simulated context.

Reflect on assumptions

Examine why you chose and which alternatives existed.

Repeat without real consequences

Try a different approach in the same practice situation.

How it works

Decide, explore the effects and try again.

Scenarios provide a structured practice environment. Feedback supports reflection and should be read as a learning prompt, not an objective judgement.

  1. 01

    Choose a scenario

Start with a role and practical situation suited to the learning goal.

  2. 02

    Make choices

Balance information, interests and time pressure within the scenario.

  3. 03

    Explore effects

See how virtual stakeholders and indicators respond to choices.

  4. 04

    Reflect

Examine assumptions, alternatives and personal learning points.

  5. 05

    Practise again

Try a different approach and discuss the differences with a facilitator or team.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know before you begin

Does Decisyn make real decisions?

Is AI feedback an objective assessment of an employee?

No. Feedback is a learning prompt and may be incomplete or wrong. Do not use it as a standalone HR judgement, selection tool or performance assessment.

Does training lead to formal certification?

Not under this proposition. If a certificate or accreditation is offered later, the criteria and issuing body must be explained separately.

Can we use our own scenarios?

This can be a development or pilot question. Do not use confidential or personal case details without appropriate arrangements.

What is its current status?

Decisyn is in development. Available scenarios, capabilities and pilot options are confirmed in conversation.

Next step

Which decision moment would you like to practise?
